Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
